The Moeller Named Scholarship Program

The Moeller Named Scholarship Program benefits qualifying students with an opportunity to earn tuition dollars toward their education at Moeller High School. As we prepare our young men to be tomorrow's leaders, we are very aware of the role that our scholarship providers play in our school. Currently, 30 named scholarships have been developed to serve this purpose with an opportunity to continue to grow this program to keep up with the needs of serving our students.
Both endowed and non-endowed scholarships typically are named in honor of an individual, family, organization, or group. This scholarship also may be a way to honor or memorialize an alumnus, faculty/staff member, student, family member, or others who may have a special connection to Moeller High School.
A scholarship can be created using a variety of assets - cash, appreciated securities, real estate or other property that can be liquidated. Additionally, deferred gifts or bequests can also be used to establish a scholarship. Deferred or planned gifts such as bequests, income producing gifts, life insurance and retirement assets can establish an endowment in the future when the gift is received.

Pictured left: Kyle Zimmerman '13 tells donors, "I love being asked to speak about my experiences at Moeller High School because they are all good. Moeller is my favorite place on earth. I don’t ever want to leave. I cannot imagine my life without Moeller, and the opportunity for me to be here does not exist without each of you. Your gift of a scholarship is what allows me to be called a Man of Moeller."
Pictured right: Dr. Tim Kremchek spoke at a recent Scholarship Breakfast Program held in the school library on October 4, 2012. He spoke of the importance of
giving back to the school that had such an impact on his father's life and the true joy of watching and working with the students who attend Moeller High School. Five of the students who are the current recipients of the Dr. Edward Kremchek Scholarship gave their generous donor a standing ovation in honor of both his passion for Moeller High School and the gift that enables each one of them the opportunity of a Moeller education.
The Moeller Scholarship Committee has established a standardized application process for Named Scholarships. These partial awards are listed in the menu link to the left and include the criteria for each scholarship. Students are permitted to apply for multiple scholarships. Unless noted, these scholarships are non-renewable.
