Moeller High School is offering a High School Entrance Test Prep Camp

Moeller will offer the Test Prep Camp for the Class of 2018
Moeller High School is offering a one week course for eighth grade boys to help them prepare for the High School Placement Test (HSPT). This class will allow the boys to:
- Take Practice Tests
- Learn Test Taking Skills
- Review Materials on the Math and Language Portions of the HSPT
- Gain Insight on the High School Admissions Process
- Meet Moeller Students
- Learn about Moeller's House System, Pastoral Ministry and other Man of Moeller Opportunities
Cost: $120
Entrance Test Prep Camp runs daily for 5 days, Monday through Friday. There will be two sessions for each week.

August 5-9
Session A: Mon-Thurs 8:30 AM - 10:30 AM
Friday 8:30 AM - 1:00 PM
Session B: Mon-Thurs 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM

Each session is Monday through Thursday with 90 minutes each day spent under the direction of highly trained teachers learning test taking skills, and reviewing the math and language portions of the HSPT test. The additional 30 minutes will be spent with Moeller Students learning about Moeller High School as well as getting to know the other students in the Test Prep Camp.
Each Friday a timed practice test will be given. Both the 8:30am and 10:30am session will take the test together starting at 8:30am. The test will last approximately 3 hours. Immediately following the test the boys will be treated to a Celebration Lunch. Results, comments, and recommendations will be mailed to each participant.
The Moeller Test Prep Camp also includes a Review Session that will be held the week of the test. Actual dates of the Review Session will be communicated during the camp.
Required Material: All Students attending the camp must purchase Barron's How to Prepare for COOP, HSPT, and TACHS. Copyright 2005 or newer. Book can be found at Barnes & Noble or Amazon.com.
All students must complete and score Practice Test #1 prior to the first day. Please bring practice test on the first day to establish a baseline score.

PARENTS: On the Monday of each week, parents are to join us for the first hour of each session for an information program titled “The Catholic High School Admissions Process.” All parents are encouraged to attend.
