The Main Event Donations
Each year the Main Event offers a Fund-A-Need tuition assistance donation opportunity within the Live Auction portion of this great gala evening. The 2012 Main Event was blessed with a generous anonymous donor who provided a matching challenge of $150,000+! In other words, the donor agreed to provide a dollar-for-dollar match if we reached a minimum threshold of $150,000. Thank you to the many guests and donors who made this match possible. We are proud to report that we far exceeded that threshold, and this year's Main Event Auction raised a net total of $622,353 for tuition assistance for our Men of Moeller!
Looking ahead to our "Evening in Tuscany," it is now time to start collecting items for the silent and live auction portion of the Main Event. This portion of the evening has the potential of not only bringing in more than $120,000 for the Men of Moeller, it also provides the evening with a TON of fun and excitement as once-in-a-lifetime items go up for bid. That's where you come in....please help us put together packages that are pure profit for Moeller High School. Your donation of sports tickets, electronices, logo items - make this happen. Cash donations are always welcome to purchase auction gifts to offset the cost of the event. See our 2013 wish list below. All of the proceeds from the Main Event benefit Moeller's Tuition Assistance Program.
The outstanding issues as we see them:
· Main home page: the main picture should be one of 3 flash rotating pictures
· Email Template: the main font of Veranda is not the font within our branding. We would like to use Arial as the main font in the email template which was one of the fonts in our original design.
· Newsletter Template: the newsletter template design looks similar to our old newsletter template and does not have the look similar to our home page as was intended. I have attached an email chain in which we discussed with Stephen Sebastian what we were looking for in the newsletter/e-memo design and the current design given to us is nowhere near that look.
