St. Joseph Tutoring

Description:

Two years ago Moeller teamed up with Mount Notre Dame and Big Brothers / Big Sisters of Cincinnati to provide an afterschool tutoring program to grade school children at St. Joseph's Grade School in downtown Cincinnati. Students interact with the children through various games and learning activities. Students generally stay with the grade school child they are paired with at the beginning of the program. This allows positive relationships to form. Last year was very successful and we are looking forward to continuing the program this year. 

Commitment:

Moeller students will visit St. Joe's twice a week from 3:00PM to 4:15PM on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month starting in October and going until April. Students must commit to ALL visits.

Service Hours:

Students will receive 35 service hours for successfully completing the program.
