Tuition & Tuition Assistance

"It Is In Giving that We Receive."

As a Catholic school in the Marianist tradition, Moeller is a Christ-centered community, focusing on faith formation, academic achievement, individual growth, and service to others. Through tuition assistance, we serve as many young men seeking an education in the Marianist tradition as possible. Each year, we provide as much assistance as possible to eligible families.

Ohio EdChoice Scholarships
The State of Ohio offers tuition funding for all Ohio families through EdChoice Scholarships. There are two types of Ohio EdChoice Scholarships—Traditional and Expansion.
Merit Scholarships
Merit Scholarships are four-year renewable scholarships, which are awarded to incoming freshmen based on a student’s score on the HSPT and a thorough review of their academic profile of their sixth, seventh, and eighth grade years, including attendance and discipline records. In order to be considered for a scholarship, prospective students must do the following:
  • Complete the admissions application and the financial aid/FACTS application by Monday, November 24. By completing the applications, you are applying for all merit scholarships offered by Moeller.
  • Have your son submit his student essays by answering the writing prompts in the application by November 24. The student essays should be written by him and uploaded as a Microsoft Word document or PDF.
Recipients of merit scholarships will be notified January 16, 2026 with their decision letters. Please note, these are not athletic scholarships, as high schools within the archdiocese and GCL are not allowed to offer athletic scholarships to students.
Tuition Assistance
In keeping with Moeller’s Mission–Catholic. Marianist. Forming our Students into Remarkable Men.–our goal is to help make Moeller financially affordable for all those who wish to attend. Moeller awards need-based tuition assistance through donations generously gifted by alumni, past/current parents and friends of Moeller. To be considered for tuition assistance, families must submit the FACTS application by November 24, 2025. Tuition assistance amounts will be included in the decision letters on January 16, 2026.
Mater Dei Scholarship
The Mater Dei Scholarship provides financial assistance to any Moeller family that has an adopted child–whether that child is a Moeller student or a sibling to a Moeller student. This award is not need-based. Please contact Kate George at [email protected] by November 24, 2025 regarding this scholarship opportunity.
Six Degrees of Humility Scholarship
The Six Degrees of Humility Scholarship is awarded to an outstanding student who demonstrates commitment to humility, service, and spiritual growth. The scholarship offers full tuition for four years at Moeller High School (less the registration fee, SAGE fee and EdChoice/State Fund aid). This incredible opportunity provides the recipient with a transformative high school experience rooted in faith, academic excellence, and character development. This scholarship is need-based, and the application will be sent to eligible families following Registration Day at Moeller.
