Archbishop Moeller | William L. "Billy" Gorczynski '16 Scholarship

William “Billy” Louis Gorczynski ’16 was a remarkable student, athlete, leader, friend, brother and believer. This scholarship honors Billy and his legacy. During his time at Moeller, Billy was involved with many opportunities Moeller provided. From excelling in numerous AP and honors classes to becoming a dedicated three-sport athlete to working with the admissions team, Billy was a tremendous Man of Moeller. His hard work and selfless leadership led him to the United States Air Force Academy, where he served this great nation for four years, devoting himself to a higher cause. Billy graduated with a degree in aeronautical engineering, ranking in the top of his class academically, physically and militarily. During his time in Colorado, Billy left a positive impact on many cadets, officers and enlisted airmen. Billy’s legacy has forever changed the lives of so many young men and women, and with this scholarship, his legacy will grant young boys the opportunity to grow into remarkable young Men of Moeller.
